About the Book
Harry Berry’s parents died in a tragic accident when an airliner exploded over Long Island, New York and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean on take-off from Kennedy International Airport. Harry, 15, is running away from home in Dallas, Texas and the police are chasing him. Granny Reed is running away from a nursing home, also in Dallas. They cross paths when Harry hides in her truck to escape from the police, and experience the wildest ride of their lives. High adventure, humor and romance when Harry meets Granny’s pretty young neighbor, Cassie Marie.
About the Author
Barbara Wright began writing picture storybooks for small children while studying with the Institute of Children’s Literature in 1992. Harry Berry is her first young adult novel. She holds a BA degree in fine art and is married to a Chemistry Professor. She enjoys tennis, gardening and art. The Wrights have one daughter and three grandsons.
