About the Book

Zoria Price has been restless with her life even before her divorce two years ago and so are her best friends, Duckie Lathan, Swann Campbell, and Deirdre Hart. The girls and Zoria are tight and they practically do everything together. True friends are hard to find and they have a bond that is unbreakable. Zoria convinces her friends that there is life after a divorce and before fifty. Now, Zoria decides to experience the younger generation and her friends want in. Will their children have a problem with the men they date when they find out the gentlemen are not much older than them? These unpredictable women have lost all morals and misbehaving isn’t the half of it. Their morals have gone kaput; however, time, money, and their professions have them at an advantage, not speaking about how good they look at forty-something.

About the Author

Alfreda Washington one of the new Author’s on the block hales from St. Louis, Missouri. Married to third husband Kimola for seventeen years and has three children: Demetreus, Louis and Kyrtia. I grew up in Vaughn Project Housing Area and graduated from Vashon High School in 1969. After attending Forest Park Community College for a year I entered into the Air Force, touring many different countries abroad. I retired after serving twenty honorable years. I have attended numerous Military Schools and Academy’s and have dealt with an adverse group of people. My interest in writing occurred after reading so many ridiculous (fiction) books and seeing movies that even a five year old could have written; she decided enough is enough. I am a type of person who enjoys books that can hold my attention span, juicy in content, suspenseful; keeping you on the edge and wanting more. Some books drag on and on and before the ending you are so drained, tired, and frustrated, you will want your money back. (Not mine) “Menopausal Stage” is one of the best fictional books that I believe my readers will enjoy. It is exciting from the beginning to the end, gets a little “SPICY’ but will leave you in stitches; wanting more. I plan on writing every book differently whereas no one will associate me with a certain story line. My fans will enjoy my work due to the content it bears. Whether a character be good or bad, scary, dangerous or sad, a need for association with characters is a must. I want my fans to know that when they open one of my books, there will be excitement, stormy relations, trust, deceit and obvious surprise. This is my thought: It’s not what you expect in a book but the unexpected. If this book was a movie it would be hilarious and some eyes would have to remain closed.
