About the Book
Image-ine a time when digital meant pressing a shutter release button with your finger, and when the term ‘ photo shop’ referred to a place you went to buy film…..
Image-ine photographs that are not computer-manipulated, hand-colored, filtered, altered in a darkroom or posed in a studio.
Image-ine using only your eyes, camera, lenses and film to capture spontaneous, serendipitous moments in time when light and form merge miraculously into visual harmony.
Image-ine all this and you will enter the world of ImprovEYEzzation.
What you see here is what I saw there…..

About the Author
A Colorado native who now resides in Missouri, James L. Fly was inspired to start photography many years after he traveled with his grandmother, Lillian Fly, a special education teacher who always carried a still and movie camera wherever she went. Jim’s photographic gallery comprises almost all candids with an evolving emphasis on impressionism and abstraction. He continues to sell photos to various publications through Unicorn Stock Photos based in Holdredge, NE. Jim agrees with the celebrity photographer William Claxton that “Photography is jazz for the eye.” For information on the purchase of individual prints featured in this book, please contact Jim at azfreshair@ earthlink.net.
