About the Author

Gayle Hester is an avid animal lover and photographer. She has owned and managed several nature-oriented gift and book stores in Virginia, her home state, as well as California, where she now lives with her husband, Tom and the magnificent Maggie and Maggie’s four sisters, Millie, Emma, Bessie and Tweeter. Gayle is currently a full time writer and designer. Gayle’s business, Magg’s Bags, makes custom handbags featuring photos of loved ones – both animal and human.
