About the Author

I’ve always found comfort in writing. I started out writing biblical skits for the youth department at the church I grew up in. The parents would always tell me how the children couldn’t wait to get to rehearsal. After writing the skits, I would direct them. I went on to perform in plays at my community theatre, I moved onto be cast in my first professional play, Tom Sawyer, my character, Widder Douglas. I enjoyed it, though I didn’t think I was that good, others thought different. Nominated “Best Supporting Actress” in Oldest Living Graduate, as Claudine. I went on to perform in several other professional productions, however, my first love “writing” kept calling me. I found the opportunity to take this calling to the classroom and became a freelance drama instructor. It enabled me to write all my material for the classroom and direct as well. This was a treat and still is.
