About the Author

I am a very proud native Milwaukeean who has a passion for business, writing and baking during my spare time. Sometimes we have to be creative when it comes to earning extra money. I sold fresh baked sweet potato pies and peach cobblers to my friends and family, which raised 1/3 of my publishing fees. My #1 customer, Mr. & Mrs. Bill Cook made a generous donation toward my publishing fees because they love my sweet potato pies (Just Like MaDear’s Sweet Potato Pies). Some of my most satisfying moments are spent trying to make things better for other people. A portion of the proceeds from this book will go toward Audrey’s Foundation. The foundations main goal is to contribute to talented young minority students planning on attending a four-year college. Education and pursing a dream are two very important in life.
