About the Book

A father’s love for his child is universally intense. When Mike Naylor learns he may have put his daughter’s life in jeopardy, he will take any risk to save her. He’ll have to. His daughter, Wendy, close to making the US Olympic gymnastics team, is training in a world-class Olympic Sports Medicine program, whose physicians, unbeknownst to the athletes, are unscrupulously using medical gene therapy to ensure extraordinary athletic development. Wendy makes excellent progress in her strength and skill development and her injuries are minimal and heal rapidly. Like Wendy, the other athletes in the program rapidly rise to the top of their competition. But something is going terribly wrong, and Wendy’s once godlike athletic body, along with other athletes in the training program, is crashing. Mike and his wife will have to discover how to reverse the deadly mistake in gene therapy to save their daughter’s life. But time is rapidly running out – the backers of the illegal gene therapy program are taking steps to reduce the number of witnesses to their scheme. Will Mike and his wife discover a cure for Wendy before they are killed?
