About the Book

The stories in this book reflect the trout fishing experiences of the author. There are also stories which relate to trout but aren’t about trout fishing. The variety of locations in the stories provide interesting and colorful background. The author has a passion for trout fishing which is both enthusiastic and contagious. As the author said “I never met a trout I didn’t like”.

About the Author

As a child and naïve Californian, I grew up in Torrance California. At the time there were wide open spaces with room to roam. Trout fishing in San Gabriel Canyon with my parents was a special part of my teen age years. I occasionally return to fish in San Gabriel Canyon. It brings back fond memories of many years ago. With the huge increase in population since I was young, it’s satisfying to know there are still trout in the streams of San Gabriel Canyon.
