About the Book

This is an adventure story about a fort on the subcontinent of India during the 19th century. Drama, action and mystery quickly unfold through the novel. The story is narrated by Dick White one of the 6 officers who tells story of himself and his comrades. All officers are given the responsibility of maintaining civil order at the frontier town of Bazaar. However things do not turn out as anticipated. In carrying out their duties all officers are faced with very unorthodox situations. The problems stem from Amstar a local leader who stirs up the town folks. The situation is further complicated by John Smith the prime minister of England who has a friendly relationship with Amstar. All six officers end up being discharged for improper handling of civil affairs. Much later through a strange twist of faith Dick White ends up becoming the prime minister.


About the Author

Author was born in New York City on the lower east side of Manhattan in 1924. Later on the family moved to Washington, D.C. Later on the author moved to Maryland in Silver Spring. Among authors accomplishments are, he wrote a novel “The Fallen Star”, edited a newsletter for a church group, was a cartoonist for a company. Additionally he wrote up environmental reports while in the government. Finally in a nut shell, human nature and adventure are at the heart of this author and story.
