Reviews
“When Marty returns to the insular South Dakota community where she was raised, everyone wants answers about the death of a family friend. A simple, unassuming question from her father opens up her own pandora’s box.”
~Lauren Fairbanks Jagernauth, Sister Carrie“This well-written story of two very different sisters holds the reader’s interest from start to finish.”
~Suzanne Millar, former book reviewer for The Philadelphia Inquirer“The quintessential battle between intellect and passion without logic. Though the Winds Blow is an insightful portrayal of a woman at the crossroads; on leave from her academic life and forced to revisit the demons of her childhood.”
~Robin Stratton, The Revision Process“... beautifully written... the kind of story that used to appear with great regularity in the old New Yorker.”
