About the Book

The Black Pieces is a literary adventure novel. It is a franchise project in that it is one story in the continuing adventure of an international team who perform covert operations on behalf of a shadowy agency that does not officially exist. Miles Coltrane is the protagonist who leads the team as it takes on the Consortium, a powerful criminal enterprise, that has unleashed a diabolical scheme to addict the entire population of the world on a cocaine, sugar and chocolate concoction. Chemists who work for the Consortium have devised a way for those substances to interact in combination thus multiplying their addictive powers. Miles and his team of operatives are assigned the task of stopping this plot and putting the Consortium out of business.

About the Author

Earl Greene is a published poet. He is originally from Harlem, but he has lived in Phoenix Arizona for the last ten years. The Black Pieces is his third novel but the first to be published.
