About the Book

Is living in a small town located in upstate New York the answer to the daily grind of city life? Where the main focuses are saying hello and the exchange of corn bread recipes is a daily occurrence. Nearly all would agree when thinking of the small hamlet of Lysander. But something went terribly wrong that would forever taint its image of tranquility. The locals become unsettled when lights again begin to burn inside the Kirchhoff farmhouse. Their suspicions are confirmed about its tenants when mail bearing the Kirchhoff name decides to pay another visit to their tiny Post Office. Most are reluctant to speak the name, for fear the cancer might once again start to spread.

About the Author

The early years of my life took root in the village of Lysander. It was with the passing of time that I have since moved on, leaving the tiny hamlet behind. I now call Cicero, New York my home. It is here that I met my wife Marybeth and have been blessed with three beautiful children, Alyssa Aiko, Jacob Thomas and James Edwards. I want to thank each for their patience with my endeavor. It had been over twenty years since I myself paid a visit to a place I grew up as a child. The village has changed little across time and in its reminiscing prompted me to go forward with my telling. The farmhouse continues to live and breathe in that hamlet. I still feel the hairs raise on my arms looking at it even today.
