About the Book
For over thirty years, Sue Haynes has taught highly creative children who often resist standardized learning and are frequently mislabeled as having ADHD and/or learning disabilities. Through recognizing their strong need for creative initiative in their learning, Sue has relished supporting their unique self-expression, sourced from their inner knowing. She believes that in an era of growing cultural dissatisfaction with a focus on materialism, these maverick learners are beacons reminding us of our creative authentic essence. Inspired by her experiences, Sue has become an advocate for fostering self-agency and creative expression in all students.
