About the Author
A life-long animal lover, Loren SpiottaDiMare has been writing about her favorite subject for nearly 30 years. She’s had three pet-care books published, Macaws, Siamese Cats and The Sporting Spaniel Handbook along with five picture books for children, Madeline’s Miracle, Rockwell: A Boy And His Dog, Chelsea & The New Puppy, Norman To The Rescue and Caesar: On Deaf Ears. Her work has been published both nationally and internationally, and she’s received Communications Awards from the Dog Writers Association of America and New Jersey Press Women. A resident of Hunterdon County, New Jersey, Loren and her husband, Lou share their home with Woody, an Irish Setter and Rory, a Welsh Springer Spaniel along with several pet birds.
