As time passes by, wars come, and wars go. Heroes are created from wars, and legends are created from heroes. There once were two kingdoms that rivaled each other so much, it drove them to war. The Tristren kingdom was a far more advanced nation than the Zemotz, and the Zemotz envied their power. The Tristren created a great force of magic that they called the ‘Gemini’, and all seemed to be going their way in this war. But the Zemotz were able to steal it. Hinro Gasket, a young fourteen year old boy who was born into a commoner family, lives his life day by day, knowing that he will become a soldier, like his father before him. But in a single night, his village is destroyed and his parents are murdered. Hinro wants revenge. With the help of an old mage, Hinro learns that he is destined to destroy the Zemotz, and the great force of magic that was once called the Gemini. But, dark dreams, horrifying flashbacks, and the ability of a long-lost magic send his mind into chaos. Is Hinro truly who he thinks he is..?

About the Author

Chad W. McGhie was born in Drayton Valley, Alberta, Canada on July 7, 1988. He continues to live there to this day. He is currently attending Frank Maddock High School in hi senior year. Chad started writing The Legend of the Tragic when he was only twelve years old. He continues to work on the series, and other projects as well. Currently he has completed The Legend of the Tragic II: The Runes of Power, and is working on The Legend of the Tragic III. Chad has always been a fan of fantasy books, video games, snowboarding, and rap music. Other than being an author, he also is an achieving young rap artist who has won awards on the internet. Most people on the internet know him as Limited Edition, or Innovation, his chosen rapping names. Chad has plans to go to New Zealand when he is done high school, and he wishes to study Creative Writing and Astronomy in university.
