About the Book
If you are interested in purchasing my work, I feel I should make you aware of what the capabilities of this book could be. The truth is that I do not yet know what they are. What lies within these pages is a mystery, even to the composer of them. I suppose I could offer some profound, formulaic wisdom to the reader, perhaps a journey into the deepest reaches of the mind or soul, or just a simple, euphoric diversion from the everday world, but for what end? Is it my place to instruct you on the proper methods of poetic enjoyment? Should I caution you about intent, meaning, diction, and other hollow, academic terms when your notions of them may be radically opposed to my own? Well, these questions lead to the quagmire of creative humor. I write about what fascinates, befuddles, angers, repulses, and sustains me. I´m honored that you are interested in exploring my visions of the world, and, despite the confusing, subtle, and sometimes depraved nuances of my work, thank you for deciding if they are worthy of your critical boredoms.
About the Author
About the Author: He was born a Gemini in 1980, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He began writing in grade school, for both class study and recreation. He was an avid reader, particularly of wildlife themes, during these early years. As he grew up his literary interests expanded to the fields of philosophy, political and military history (he is fascinated by anything to do with the American Civil War), cultural studies, religious works, mythology, and, of course, poetry, both classical and modern. When he finished high school, he focused more on creating verse than on other genres. After studying psychology at Michigan State University, he moved to San Diego, California. There he currently resides and continues to write, and that’s all you need to know.
