About the Book
RIBBONS AROUND MY HEART is a collection of captivating poems, prose, and potpourri written by Evelyn K. Gans. It spans a lifetime of her experiences and emotions. She said, “Every line was written spontaneously, every character is real. Nothing is sophisticated nor intended to be pedantic”. The chapters LOVE, HUMOR, FOOD and EATING, LIFE and TIME, and HOLIDAYS and SEASONS are sentimental and humorous. POTPOURRI is a mixture of anecdotes, original greeting cards and messages, composed for special occasions to amuse, cheer and make you ponder. Now retired Gans lives in a quiet Connecticut condo with Brandy, her Pomeranian dog-child, surrounded by her vast cookbook collection and myriads of interesting memorabilia and memories. Gans said, “I sincerely hope RIBBONS AROUND MY HEART touches the hearts of many readers.”
