The family thinks they have finally found the perfect place to call home until they meet Thelma a devious, conniving and ruthless woman. Murder, mystery, happiness, racism and mayhem all the ingredients a woman needed to satisfy her greed and determination to have her way no matter the cost including embezzlement and possible murder. Such a small close knit community terrorized so horribly by one woman the People’s court singled them out to tell their story on national television. The 2000 Presidential election controversy in Florida has nothing on this Story. It reveals a behind the scene’s look at politics at it’s worse. The best and the worse of our judicial system. Could the contents of this story if told sooner have decided the 2000 presidential election?
About the Author
Millie Elizabeth Surrency was born in a small shore town in New Jersey. She married SFC Gary L. Surrency a highly decorated veteran and has traveled the world extensively during his military career. They have 5 adult children and 4 grandchildren. They retired from military life in Florida only to live such a nightmare it caused them to constantly move. The Surrency’s accomplishments include being recognized for mentoring to troubled teens, being named on the Rosa Parks Wall of Tolerance in Alabama and also has been featured in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in the World. The Surrency’s still reside in Florida and continue assisting troubled youth which has always been their passion. Their family motto has always been Education is key in Life. Work hard, set goals for yourself and always respect yourself, others and the laws of the land.
