About the Book

When Sarah Edmonds loses her job from a Boston publishing firm, she and her husband, Jason, decide it is time to move to Atlanta where they frequently vacationed. Sarah moves first and unknowingly becomes a target for a drug ring. When Jason visits, a kidnap attempt is made on them at the airport. They learn that Elliot, Sarah´s cousin, is behind it. Elliot is in trouble with a loan shark. He is using his inheritance and borrowed money to advance his own pleasures and business venture - and time to repay the loan is running out. About the Author

J. D. Place has been writing ever since she could hold a pencil. First poetry then short stories and lately fiction. Born in Lexington, Kentucky, she is called JoD by family. JoD has lived in the Boston, Massachusetts, area and now resides in Georgia with her two calico cats. Walt, her husband, encouraged her to write novels after moving to the Peach state. This effort resulted in the Monrose Legacy. JoD has worked frequently as a Technical Writer and Documentation Specialist while in Georgia. She enjoys traveling, reading, and gardening. She is a graduate of Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky.
