About the Book
I was born in Magnolia, NC. It was a town of less than 1000 population Our diet was vegetables from the garden and chickens from the yard. I graduated from high school May 3, 1944. I boarded the Atlantic Coast Line train on June 15 for Washington, D.C. to work for the FBI. I married and had two children. I was a stay at home mom. I was a Girl Scout Leader and a volunteer at the school and church. These were days of joy. When our daughters graduated from, high school, I returned to the Work world. I retired in May 1989 and moved to North Myrtle Beach. I attended Coastal Carolina University and received a degree in interdisciplinary studies. I was born in Magnolia, NC. : I retired in May 1989 and moved to North Myrtle Beach, SC. I attended Coastal Carolina University and received a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I live with my husband Bill. We have two daughters, Sandra and Sheila, and four grandchildren. My hobbies are reading and writing. I am a member of a book club and a poetry group. My favorite sport is swimming. I like to travel. I volunteer at the Church ad with a kindergarten class. I am chairman of sickness and distress for a fraternal organization, and I also write a monthly Newsletter. My philosophy is to maintain a positive attitude.
