About the Book

During a life time beginning in l932 the author has experienced the excitement of World War II through the eyes of a young boy, a parochial school education, the effect of the Korean War on his life, and the great concern for his children during the Cuban Missile Crisis. In later years the Vietnam War, Watergate, the Reagan revolution, the end of the cold war and the two Iraq wars were in the forefront of the national news. An active law practice filled his working hours, but the main ballast of his life were his parents, his wife Pat, and his children and grandchildren. These are the memories of growing up on Long Island, New York and then raising a family in Jacksonville, Florida during the last two thirds of the twentieth century.
