The theme of this book The Giant Sparrows is summed up by the conclusion. The conclusion of this book drives home the point , that of protecting animals, which include endangered species and the fictional Giant Sparrows. The animal police are introduced to help do this. The story starts with a young boy named Johnny who latter becomes instrumental towards the goal of protecting all animals including the fictional Giant Sparrows. When the bones of a pterodactyl dinosour are found this then leads to the creation of the Giant Sparrows. In the wild they are near impossible to approach even by the army. When Johnny and Jordin are in there twenties they make friends with 3 Giant Sparrows and Relay their encounter to the world. Their encounter with the 3 giant Sparrows inspires a new law to protect all animals , their habitat and the Giant Sparrows. The animal police are then introduced to help do this.
