About the Author

A published freelance writer since 1989, the author has three non-fiction (Schiffer Publishing) books to her credit: Wonderful Raggedy Anns, The Bear Made Me Buy It (Advertising Bears), and Bears With An Attitude. Ten years of magazine articles, six years of newspaper and magazine columns, plush a cookbook, and six genealogies are under her byline. Awards include placing 3 (out of 13,000 entries) in the magazine article category of Writer’s Digest Annual Contest; in the top ten in magazine article writing at the Pacific Northwest Writer’s Conference; and winning fourth place in the San Diego Union-Tribune’s Romantic Scene Contest.
