About the Book

Bullfiddler is the recollections of the author's musical experiences in El Paso and Austin, Texas as an amateur electric and acoustic bass player. The book also covers briefly his experience with recovery. The work covers a small segment of the Texas musical world and hopefully shows with optimism the various fields and possibilities that exist in the Texas music industry. All the characters mentioned in the book are real and all events within the work actually happened.

About the Author

David Leibson is an award winning songwriter. He was born in El Paso, Texas and graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso. Leibson began his musical career in 1964 and has written articles, reviews and poems for newspapers and magazines in Texas, New Mexico and nationally. Leibson has a discography and his bilingual recordings are available through Deep South Productions, Austin, Texas. He is currently living, writing, playing and listening to music in Austin.
