About the Book

"Seldom does a distinguished medical doctor who had a drastic fall from grace have the courage to write about it.
He was the first African American physician who completed the Neurology residency at his medical center.
Travelling to Augusta, Georgia, he was most likely the first African American physician to complete the Fellowship in Neuromuscular Diseases at the Medical College of Georgia.  Was the pressure too great?
Great discipline, focus, and determination can cause a young doctor to soar to great heights.
But carried to an extreme, professional burnout, depression, and sexual misconduct can destroy a successful career.
Learn how this physician was able to walk away from a busy medical practice and obtain professional help.
See how importance the love and support of a wonderful spouse and family and church community can sustain the process of recovery for one who was at the precipice of despair and destruction."
