About the Book
“The Sparrow’s Song” was compiled from words I have found meaningful over the years and they have provided comfort in what otherwise could have been a dismal past. I started gathering these at an early age and continued searching for deeper meaning until the present time. It is my desire that others may be encouraged to use reading and writing as a diversionary art to aid the formation of peace in sharing love.
About the Author
My name is Nathaleen Cobb. I am a wife, a mother of four, and grandmother of twenty. I am a retired registered nurse, I have worked as a real estate and an insurance agent, and served as the executive director for the local chapter of The National Committee for the Prevention of Child Abuse. For years, I have developed an infinite fascination and admiration for people and how they cope and deal with the tragedies in everyday life. The fortunate ones not only survive, but by the grace of God, they learn to thrive. I have the distinct honor of singing with the Prime Time Choir of First Baptist Church in Lubbock and I am an avid golfer. I am a lifetime member of The International Society of Poets, Hall of Fame.
