About the Author
Kyla Carson has always been interested in healing on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level. When she was born in Cairo with a genetic anomaly, the nurses thought it best to leave her to die, unattended, by an open window. Kyla studied social work and family therapy and worked in psychiatry. She also became a massage therapist and a hypnotherapist, facilitated past life regressions, and taught yoga and meditation. She has incorporated all these modalities and now practices spiritual psychotherapy, which addresses deep wounds. She offers workshops internationally where she is often struck by how we all thirst for a path to authenticity and joy. She is divorced and has two remarkable grown daughters who inspire her.
