Surely there are a high percentage of people worldwide who have phobias of one temperament or another; there are also those of us as well who hunger for the otherworldly genre to satisfy their sinister and bizarre passions. Without doubt, walking through a dark ominous door, not knowing what is on the other side, raises one’s blood pressure to dangerous levels. I therefore plead for my readers to please enter the Door to the Unknown at your own risk and satisfy your passions, and or, confirm the irrational fears that keep you awake nights. You will never satisfy your morbid curiosity if you don’t take that first step.

About the Author

The author, after completing dual majors in English and American Literature & Latin American Studies at California State University, Fresno, completed his course work in English and American Literature & Asian Studies as a Doctoral Fellow The author, after completing dual majors in English and American Literature & Latin American Studies at California State University, Fresno, completed his course work in English and American Literature & Asian Studies as a Doctoral Fellow at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. After teaching for a few years at both his alma maters he traveled extensively throughout Asia. He taught for several years at universities in South Korea and Vietnam and is currently an English professor at the prestigious Heilongjiang University in Harbin, China. at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
