About the Book

On a beautiful summer day in August 19, 2005, Mide Osmani received the news that would change her life forever. Her only son tragically lost his life to suicide. In spite of his physical challenges as a young boy, Lou was able to achieve all his dreams and bring joy to all his friends and family. Mide was inspired to help other families, who find themselves in similar circumstances, to detail how the love of family and friends helped her survive her ordeal. Mide Osmani writes a moving memoir of her life, loss, and the love for her son and a family that will always endure.

About the Author

Mide Osmani was raised on a farm in Macedonia. She immigrated to Canada and became a loving wife and mother .She juggled odd jobs and her husband’s construction business to raise her three children in Winnipeg, Canada. Mide currently resides in the Chicagoland area in Illinois with her husband, Kamerr, where she is enjoying her life with her family, daughters, and grandchildren.
