Debbie Herbert and husband Rob, now live in a small town in North Carolina their brick 1960’s rancher on a well manicured street of Magnolias and Palms, the southern sweetness is not only in the air but in the people. Debbie and Rob both enjoy working in the yard watching the frogs and fish enjoy the ponds and butterflies and birds visit their tranquil setting in nature. Debbie writes and paints as often as possible and is kept company by 2 Jack Russell’s, one Rat/Jack and a Corgi. Dogs are her weakness and she also one of her favorite subjects to paint. The arrival of a Grand daughter Taylor Avery, she sees many new chapters ahead of her, meanwhile look for Book 2 in 2009…It is in the works now along with a book of short stories, and an art book! Debbie started keeping a diary when she was a preteen and then turned to journal writing in the early 1970’s. She has written several short stories and has several books in different stages of completion, with the goal of having two more books finished and on the shelves in 2009.
