About the Author
Evangelist Tena LeFlore’s ministry was conceived in the summer of 1986 through a vision given to her by the Spirit of God. She began to see women with their heads hung down after looking at other women succeed, believing that they could never attain to such status in life. She also saw the complete helplessness and hopelessness. These were women of all creeds and colors. She began to yell (seemingly outside the scene) to the women, “Yes You Can! And you are just as beautiful.” Again, in the spring of 2002 she received yet another dream/vision confirming the call from God to ministry; which was so powerful; it highly motivated her to begin to implement her plan of action. In the summer of 2002, after the death of her second cousin (due to gang violence) she began to go into intercession for the young men. She then began to hear the cry of these young men, crying out “God where are you? Do you hear my cry?” At this point God spoke in her spirit paridium shift. This meant to include all elements of / or to include not only the women but also the men. She was a certified aerobic instructor in 1986 when she received the call. Further, she is knowledgeable in the field of Nursing, Psychology, Growth/Development and Active Communication skills. Additionally, she also has experience in Management, Marketing and strong customer service skills. Furthermore, she is certified in Human Resources from Cal State Long Beach and is certified with the state of California for food safety (HACCP). Currently, she is the CEO and founder of Changed Ministries International with Changed Ministries and, “Yes You Can”, Resource Center. She evangelizes in the parks of Compton, Los Angeles, Carson and Lawndale. Her most cherished accomplishment is her four adult children, Julian LeFlore Jr., John Solomon LeFlore, Justin Sean LeFlore and Jena Marie LeFlore.
