About the Author

Dr. Belal A. Kaifi is an Afghan-American who has grown up in the diverse San Francisco, Bay Area of California. Belal traveled to Afghanistan for the first time in 2005. Belal received his Doctoral degree in Organization and Leadership from the University of San Francisco and has two other graduate level degrees (MBA and MPA). Belal’s research interests include issues relating to diversity, cross-cultural leadership, and understanding organizational culture and change.
