Jeff and Kenzie have had a perfect wedding reception, and the Dwyer family is now whole again. Jeff and his sons couldn’t be happier. When Rowan decides to take more direct action to get what he wants, Kenzie, despite having retired as an operative, must once again use her skills to find Rowan and protect those she loves. Kenzie’s adversaries discover that she will do whatever it takes to defend her family, like a mother panther protecting her cubs, including deadly force if necessary.

Marilee Worrell was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. She has lived in New York State most of her life after moving around the United States the first eleven years of her life. She has been a practicing physical therapist assistant for twenty-seven years. She is an avid dragon collector. She enjoys reading, role-playing, movies, music, bowling, baseball, media conventions, and of course, writing. She has met many sci-fi actors/actresses from television at media conventions and enjoys reading about and communicating with some established authors through some of the more popular online blogging sites. She lives with her calico cat, Noelle.
