About the Book
Andrew Bernstein is an ordinary kid who, unlike some other people, counted on his friends a lot—until he met the dragon Sky Lord and received superpowers from him to fi ght evil. Now Andrew was determined that his friends could now count on him. Unfortunately, a superhero does not just deal with some little thieves. For every superhero, there will always be a super villain. After breaking free from his seal, a demonic spirit named Spiritual Doom went on a rampage of destruction. Andrew immediately went to stop Doom but was badly defeated along with the loss of a dear friend. Spiritual Doom then decided to kill Andrew so that no one will have a chance to stop him. To do that, Doom kidnapped Andrew’s friends and lured Andrew into his trap. Now Andrew must face a powerful force of evil, his friends’ lives and the fate of the whole universe at stake, and his own destiny.
About the Author
YUHUI (ANDREW) DING was born in 1995 in Tianjin, China. He lived with his grandparents in China during his childhood while his mother pursued her career in other cities of China and then in cities of United States. Ten-year-old Yuhui traveled across the ocean to reunite with his mother in U.S.A. Yuhui entered an unfamiliar culture, and was living a lonely life because of the language barrier. During his struggle in the new country, his imagination was his best friend. Inspired by his classmate, he decided to share his imagination in the real world. Yuhui pieced together the English words he just learned from class, and drew the characters to seek friendship for him in the imaginary world. The Warrior Soul is a voice for friendship from the true heart of a young boy. Yuhui Ding, now known as Andrew Ding, is living happily with his mother’s new family in Ottawa Hills, Ohio.
