About the Book

This diverse selection of illustrated poems, both humerous and philosphical, is divided into four parts. The first poems were written in Southern Spain and describe the plants, insects and animals in the area. They give a humerous and metaphorical view of life. Those following are about places and people met on Linda’s many travels. The final two sections are dedicated to friends and family and also reflect on our personal need for love and a sense of belonging. These poems will make you laugh and cry – they aim to speak directly to your heart.

About the Author

Linda Bick is a folk artist who enjoys participating in the many different aspects of art, music and liturature. As a song writer and muscian she has performed in many countries around the world. She has held art and poetry exhibitions in Gibraltar, Spain and France. Inspiration for many early poems was from plants and people in and around Gibraltar, Southern Spain and Morocco. Later poems include America and Asia. She continues to write, paint and sing and at present lives in Andalucia.
