This is a true story about a guy named Captain Todd and his first mate, Karen that set out on a spectacular adventure upon their boat named Five Star. About the Author

Karen Priest Whitman grew up in Audubon, NJ. She was always interested in writing and playing all kinds of different sports. After a life-threatening snow skiing accident, which made her appreciate life more, so then she and her husband, Todd, decided to live on their boat named Five Star. They started living in Miami, FL in 2004 which was their home port and started to travel. They took Five Star to Bimini, Nassau, Cat Cay, Eleuthera, the Exumas, the Keys and in 2007, they faced a challenge to explore an unknown excursion half way around the United States called the Great Loop or otherwise known as the Great Circle Trip. After five great years of some phenomenal adventures, they are now ready to settle down on land and start a new beginning.
