About the Book

Somalia Harvey was desperate to start her life over. To erase the pain and tragedy that had struck her life so suddenly. What was once the picture-perfect life, Somalia was now forced to face her harsh reality that this was no more. Alone and a single mother, she was now raising her son on her own. Now Somalia must face her tragic past in order to find the strength to allow herself to love once again. And just when she thinks she’s got it all figured out, she finds that love sometimes comes at the most inopportune and unconventional ways. Will she embrace this new life, or will she once again run in the other direction?

About the Author

Karen Williams was born in the small rural county of Spotsylvania, Virginia before moving to the city of Newport News at the young age of 23. There in Newport News she attends a community college where she is obtaining her nursing degree. She resides with her children, her life long partner, and their one dog and one cat. This is Karen’s first book written with the hopes of writing more in the near future. Karen currently draws her inspiration from her life experiences, her active imagination, and her strong desire to bring that imagination to life on paper.
