A native of Fort Worth, Texas, she received a Bachelor’s of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Howard University, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Urban League of Central Carolinas and City Dive, Inc. She and her husband, Dwoski, reside in Charlotte, North Carolina and have one son.
