Laced with photographs, The Fight (of) For My Life brings to readers a look back at the many obstacles the author encountered from the last decade concerning both his well-being and his social life. It reveals how Cain became morbidly obese, the many medical setbacks he suffered, what it was like to be over four hundred pounds heavy, his struggle on consumption, and much more. Readers will also find detailed articles on what life was like for the author through the years, including eating schedules, diets, daily journals, and tips on dealing with social prejudice.

About the Author

My name is Robert Eugene Cain Jr., and I was born in Louisville, Kentucky, in 1961. I am a single parent of a fifteen-year-old son named Robert Eugene Cain III. I was an aerial lineman for about fifteen years; and after putting up cable, learning to splice cable, and becoming a lead technician, I quit climbing poles and became a supervisor. I recently went on long-term disability with Coca-Cola Enterprises. I have worked for Coke as a fountain technician, and I have been in Special Events for the last five years. I have battled problems with my weight most of my life, which is what inspired me to write this book!
