About the Book
Life Without a Bellybutton is an autobiography of a woman’s life. She is a woman surviving multiple birth defects. Undetermined sex and no bellybutton are issues associated with her complications. Traveling while growing up in a military family opens the door to adventure. Her first love died serving in Vietnam; she overcame the tragedy of his death. The USO changes her life forever. The story evolves to a life of challenges, friendships, love, child birth, adoptions and spiritual experiences. It is a story that can make you laugh and cry. The story is intended to help motivate those with challenges in their life inspiring them to live life to the fullest!
About the Author
Marion is a retired childcare and preschool director. She has written children’s stories, short stories and her autobiography, Life Without a Bellybutton. Marion was raised in a loving military family and also married a wonderful military man. She has survived multiple surgeries caused by birth defects. Marion is the proud mother of four children and the grandmother of fourteen. Marion has volunteered for many organizations such as the USO, American Red Cross, local hospitals, March of Dimes, Military MWR and Woodmen Valley Chapel. Marion’s passion for story telling has been mastered due to her amazing life experiences.
