About the Book
Well Kept Secrets, in essence, is about a woman, Janet Barrett, in her forties, who is placed, only half-willingly, in a mental institution, a middle income “looney bin”. She lives out her adventures in the unpredictable environment. She feels exploited and inconvenienced in a place she considers, not only sad, but absurd and presumptuous and she resents authority.
