Uncle J agrees to babysit his nieces and nephew while attempting to do his homework. Lessons of sharing, family and equal opportunity are experienced through the sand battles, taunting and tears. Has Uncle J taken on more than he can handle? Will Uncle J ever agree to babysit again?

About the Author

T.M. Young Born and raised in Washington, DC. Educated in the DC Public School System through which I attended schools such as Malcolm X Elementary, J H Johnson Jr. High and Frank W Ballou Sr. High Schools. It was there that I was taught confidence, creativity and the power of self-expression. I began with the many book reports that Mrs. Burton and Mrs. Smith assigned then moved on to essays, short stories and poetry. My favorite of which is short stories. It was through the encouragement and acknowledgement of my teachers, family members, friends as well as life’s lesson that I discovered my passion for writing. I currently reside in the Washington, DC area with my family and continue to write stories full of laughter, love and lessons for both the young and wise.
