About the Book

B. J. lay upon the ground listless as he gazed into the gaping jaws of the large calico cat above him. The cat’s lips were curled back, exposing large white fangs that set his heart racing within him.

About the Author

The Author, a California native, is pictured here with her grandchildren Ben and James. Her inspiration comes largely from stories her husband, Ed, tells of his childhood in Quebec, Canada. Mouse Glen, itself, closely resembles a lovely spot on Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia that the couple called home for a season.
