About the Book

The Sunfl ower Babies were created to help teach good values to children about 1 to 4 years old. Connie started with the creation of the Sunflower Babies rag dolls worked her way through the Sunflower Babies chapter book of continuing short stories.

About the Author

Connie Ostrem is an Ankeny Iowan and a retired grandmother of seven wonderful children. Her hobbies are woodworking, quilting and crafts. Connie’s desire is to be able to create a book that her grandchildren could use and carry through generations. As a mother, she also realizes the importance of good values. When children are taught and practice good values at an early age, it is a good possibility they will carry them through adulthood, which will in return create a continuing cycle of good choices.
