About the Author

Timothy K. Glaid, D.Mgt. For 30 years, Dr. Glaid consulted with many Fortune 500 information technology leaders on ways to employ technology in order to gain competitive advantage. He has held senior management positions with AT&T, MCI and Verizon. Additionally, for the past 15 years, he has led large teams in the higher education industry, including serving as the Dean of the Business School at a West Virginia university, the College President and Campus Director of a Pittsburgh-based proprietary technical college, and a full-time professor of leadership studies at a private university. Dr Glaid enjoys teaching in the areas of business, leadership, management, entrepreneurship, organizational behavior and development, HRM, operations, finance, business law, and information technology. Tim earned his undergraduate degree in computer science, a graduate degree in organizational management, an MBA degree with a concentration in international business, and a doctorate degree in management and organizational leadership. In addition to holding his current full-time position as a professor of business management at an Ohio-based community college, and his adjunct work at Duquesne University, Ohio University, and Salem University, Tim continues to serve as the Principal of his own consulting firm, the Leadership Ignite Company (website http://www.leadershipignite.com), and in 2010, published his first book entitled “Leadership Ignite … Unleashing the Consciousness”. In November of 2017, Dr. Glaid co-authored the book "Put Me in the Game Coach: A Practical Guide to Becoming an A+ Adjunct and Facultypreneur".
