About the Author
Cynthia Ann Ebner was born and raised in LaCrosse, WI, where she graduated from Viterbo College with a Bachelor of Science and a Degree in Nursing. She moved to Milwaukee, WI, where her nursing led her into a carrier in consulting in surgical services in hospitals for the past twenty-three years. There were several things that kept her strong and she held onto for stability and staying focused. They were her clinical knowledge, faith and family. She also had a faithful toy poodle named Jordie who traveled with her everywhere she went. Both Cynthia and Jordie experienced situations that no one should ever experience in their lives, however, fate put them in places that would test their strengths to the limit and experience she hoped would keep them safe in the long term. Let the games begin. Barbara Celeste McCloskey was born and raised in a small town in Southeastern Wisconsin. Since childhood, she’s had a passion for writing and in adulthood has made her living with her literary skills in marketing communications. She was first published when she was in high school when one of her essays was selected for publication in a small town newspaper called The East Troy News. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Wisconsin, majoring in English and Communication and began her professional writing career by producing an on-campus newsletter.
