About the Book

The Dr Steve Builds series of books draws upon the experiences gained by Dr Steve Burroughs, Canberra, Australia while working in Southern and Western Africa and in remote locations in outback Australia. This book, Dr Steve Builds a School for Miss Lee, is based on a project to build a school in remote Africa. It engages the school children and enables them to learn maths and science through problem solving and discovery learning. It is the second in the Dr Steve series of books to be released. Dr Steve and Miss Lee are offering teacher training and instruction in project leaning to compliment the Dr Steve series of books.

About the Author

Dr Steve Burroughs, an Australian Sustainable Green Building and Remote Design Building Expert with a PhD in Architecture as well as an Adjunct Associate Professor from the Arts & Design faculty of the University of Canberra, and Ms Dixie Brown Lee, an American educator in an urban school, combined their experiences to create a series of children’s project based math and science books.
