About the Author

Mary L. Roberts is a retired high school science teacher and mother of three sons and has three grandchildren. She says writing poetry is like having a picnic on the thoughts and feelings of her mind and heart. She is active in her church and enjoys reading and line dancing. A widow since 2006, Mary makes her home in Hempstead, Texas.
