Wayne Terry’s bio is rather different from most biographies one might read nowadays in that his idea of success if seeing a tiny nose pushed up against an inside window and deciphering a little one saying “Hello, Grandpa.” Wayne is not only an author of many works on dementia (mainly Alzheimer’s disease), but as a world traveler he has seen a lot of living in his sixty-eight years. He is a retired naval officer. He has worked for the U.S. State Department, is a Stephen Minister as well as a Leader—and has filled many pulpits for pastors headed for vacation or sabbaticals. He is an excellent speaker and his lovely wife, Donna, and he live in Powhatan, Virginia… The Land of Chief Powhatan. It’s a tiny little place growing much faster than it would like to—but folks for the better part, are friendly and gracious and ever mindful of the beauty and importance of life. A godly life.
