Psalms of Faith

About the Book

“Psalms of Faith”, is my second book. It is a book of poems that is based on true-life lessons that I have learned over the years, and spiritual enlightenments that God has personally taught me as I sought to know the truth of His Word. In the year 2000, God began to give me poetic expressions that reflect the truths that I have learned; and I began, at that time, documenting them. “Psalms of Faith” contains the essence of these enlightenments. It is my hope that all who read these poems will be encouraged and enlightened.

About the Author

Evelyn Faith Pickett was born, in 1947, grew up in Shelby County, Alabama, graduated from Montevallo High School, in 1965, and attended the university there. Through an act of faith and a miraculous touch of God, she was saved into the Christian faith, in March, 1970. At that time, God instilled in her an eagerness to know the truth of His Word. Over the years in her search for truth, God faithfully gave her enlightenments; and in the year 2000, He graciously began to give her poems, songs, and teachings reflecting these enlightenments. Her documentation of these truths was her first attempt at writing. Besides spending time with her precious family, serving God has been her passion. This has brought her much enjoyment and peace. In addition, she enjoys writing, likes to travel, and to make hand-made jewelry. She currently resides in the Montevallo, Alabama, area, and works as a receptionist at a municipality in a neighboring County.
